Mondo’s 1/6 scale “MOTUbi” Buzz-Off variant just went up for sale on the Mondo site. The figure is a repaint of the original character released earlier this year, but this time in colorful metallic colors, inspired by Japanese Sofubi toys. The figure is limited to 500 pieces. Red Shadow has been teased for a MOTU Origins Mattel Creations release! Also shown, Axel Giménez’ B-sheet design for the character, and an old custom figure made in the MOTU Classics era. The order window opens up on Mattel Creations on November 18.
Mattel recently revealed the Mark Taylor-designed He-Man as one of its upcoming figures in the Masters of the Universe Origins “Sketch Book Series” subline. Now, thanks to Die Welt der Meister Magazin, the packaging and box art has been revealed as well. The packaging art depicts a mysterious female vampire character joining Skeletor in battle against He-Man and Man-E-Faces (another upcoming figure based on early concept art of the character). The Turtles of Grayskull comics are scheduled to release as a trade paperback compilation November 11, 2025. It was previously reported last April that the compilation would also include the Turtles of Grayskull mini-comics that were included as a “pack-in” bonus with the Masters of the Universe x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. Now, according to series artist Freddie Williams II, the trade paperback will no longer include the mini-comics.
