In the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, eagle-eyed He-Man fans spotted a Masters of the Universe-themed sleeping bag on the bed of a new character, Derek Turnbow. While we won’t reveal the plot details surrounding the scene so as not to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet, it does appear in a pretty tense scene. Stranger Things has frequently featured He-Man related memorabilia, from shots of the actual toys in the scene to the Filmation He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon running in the background.

The upcoming issues for Dark Horse’s Masters of the Universe comic series the Sword of Flaws seem to have been postponed in their respective release dates. The update comes at the heels of the recent announcement that Dark Horse will turn the Masters of the Universe title into an ongoing series, starting with issue #5. That issue’s release date is scheduled for March 25th, meaning that there won’t be a gap between issues 4 and 5 for readers. As reported by He-Mania, a first image of Queen Marlena in package has appeared! This one showed up at Paulmart and quickly sold out. Still no word on when the earthling mother of Prince Adam and captain of the Rainbow Explorer will be available for sale, but we’ll keep you posted!
Masters of the WWE Universe Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat came with a repainted version of the armor from MOTU Origins Lords of Power Mer-Man, and the dragon from MOTU Classics Dragon Blaster Skeletor.
Masters of the WWE Universe Rey Mysterio came with a repainted version of the harness from MOTU Classics Stratos, and the wings from MOTU Origins Stratos. This second version of the character had a silver body suit.
Masters of the WWE Universe Macho Man Randy Savage came with a repainted version of the chest armor from MOTU Classics Hordak, the leg armor from MOTU Classics Palace Guards, and Man-At-Arms’ mace. This second version of the character had a black and white color scheme, and he also included a black cap.
Masters of the WWE Universe Junkyard Dog came with a repainted version of the armor from MOTU Classics Spikor. He also included a spike and chains weapon.
Masters of the WWE Universe Bret “Hit Man” Hart came with a repainted version of the armor and sword from MOTU Classics Tri-Klops. He also included a visor and removable arm bands.
Masters of the WWE Universe Andre the Giant came with removable armor, a removable belt, a removable headband, and removable bracers. His overall look was inspired by Tytus, originally released in Masters of the Universe in 1988.
Masters of the WWE Universe Rattlesnake Mountain Ring was a Snake Mountain-themed wrestling ring. Also included were Hulk Hogan and and Stone Cold Steve Austin figures.
Masters of the WWE Universe “Macho Man” Randy Savage came with battle armor style chest armor with three removable panels, repainted leg armor from the MOTU Classics Palace Guards, a repainted mace from MOTU Classics Man-At-Arms, and a removable cap.
