Not only did Bruce Timm insert many Jack Kirby-like squiggles into this illustration, but if you look carefully at this piece from the Masters of the Universe minicomic "Snake Attack!" the pose that He-Man is striking inside the globe is blatantly from the cartoon's transformation sequence...
