Description
Sadly, Aidan has lost this issue but can still describe one story from it:
The Planet of Plants
Hordak pours a poisonous fluid into a pond which Battle Cat is drinking from. Battle Cat falls seriously ill, and back at Eternos City, is taken to the Royal doctor. Just then, Mantenna brings a not from Hordak, saying that he will deliver the cure for Battle Cat's illness if the heroic warriors will give him the keys to Castle Grayskull. He-Man does not want to take such a risk, but the Royal doctor says that there is a cure for the illness which can be found on planet Teekay, a planet full of plant life. He-Man journeys there with Moss Man and Buzz-Off, but as soon as they arrive, they are attacked by the plants. They try to fight them, but in vain, as even Moss Man's power over plants is not working well on this alien world. But He-Man finds that they can transmit thought signals into the plants' minds and communicate with them. The intelligent plants reveal that they are treating them as criminals, because many years ago there was a great war on the planet between the plants and humans, which the plants won. They believe all humans are evil and refuse to help the warriors. But just then, a volcano erupts, endangering the plants' lives. He-Man says that he and his friends can help, and persuades the plants to let him free. Together with Moss Man and Buzz-Off, he saves the plants, and they repay him by giving him the cure he needs for Battle Cat. The heroic warriors go back to Eternia, and Battle Cat is cured. (This is a very important story, as several further references to planet Teekay were made, and the planet featured again in a very important story in the 'Adventure Magazine' series.)
