The claw arm can be maneuvered by means of a "joystick" handle in the cockpit, but unfortunately, the claw itself must be opened and closed manually. The Dreadwing ("Shuttlepod") vehicle can perch atop the vehicle in two positions, and there is a hinged escape hatch on the tank's underside. It is known by the name "Terrapod" overseas.
