Fan-Fiction is my favorite part of this entire site. There are so many talented writers here. I am new to the boards officially but I have been a lurker for quite a while. So being a huge MotU/PoP fan I thought I would take a shot at this. Not to mention I could really use a creative outlet in my life.

So to the point of this post:

Masters of the Universe (Allies and Enemies): This is actually a prequal to the story I have in mind and its purpose is to reintroduce the MotU world as I see it for this story. I try to stay true to the original mythos but I combine elements of the different MotU and PoP storylines. I also take a few creative liberties.

Masters of the Universe (The Legion Vol. 1): Disappointed in Hordak's never ending failures to completely surpress Etheria, Horde Prime appoints a new commander to conquer the planet. New circumstances lead to a renewed Horde interest in Eternia.

A quick note on style...I am a major movie fanatic so the only way I can picture this story in my head is in the context of a movie. So the stories will be submitted in a watered-down screenplay format because that's the only way I can write and still have the story make sense. I am really looking forward to this...can't wait to read all the other stories posted here too.

Here's a list of my stories. They're written in a somewhat dry voice that's supposed to have the feel of an encyclopedia or a history book. All of my stories are complete when posted. They also include links whenever they reference each other. The character stories attempt to tell the complete-but-brief story of a character - from their birth (or "origin" in some cases) to their death (or "alleged death" as in Keldor's case).

The Ancients - A brief description of how Ancient Eternian society was structured prior to the rise of King Hiss.. and how it was destroyed.

Eternia - A geographical survey.

King Grayskull - Grayskull is born a slave to King Hiss, but eventually leads a revolt against the Snake Men and is crowned the rightful King of Eternia. A fateful encounter between the two Kings proves to be one of the most significant events in Eternian history...

King Hiss - Hiss is imprisoned by the Council of Wisdom, but eventually breaks free, conquers Eternia, and rules unchallenged for 3,500 years - until a rebellion breaks out among his slaves...

Hordak - Hordak is recruited by the Horde and goes on to become its most notorious warrior. He is eventually granted a governorship of the planet Etheria. When Hordak decides to invade nearby Eternia, however, his power begins to unravel...

Set two years after the Horde's successfull invasion of Eternia and during He-man's ten year exile on Primus.

Part 1: A fallen Hero working title

This story is mainly about Man-At-arms and how and why he is currently a member of the Horde. This is going to be the main story of The Dark Years.

Other stories to come are:

Tooth and Claw
Its a battle between Grizzlor and Beastman over the control of the Beserker Islands.

A Man Alone
Found in the frozen wastelands Faker returns to a world changed and no longer has a place for his unique talents.

The Quest
Teela leads a group of fellow Heroic Warriors in an attempt to recruit members for the Rebellion. (Will feature a new group of character created by Murcury)

The Cure
A Dark Years/ New Adventures crossover. When the Sorceress is poisoned and the only antidote is found on Eternia a new warrior from Primus must journey to the Horde controled planet. (Will be the origin of a new character that will feature in up coming stories)

These are just some of the ideas in store as well as a telling of The Fall of Eternia .

Firstly, here are the 3 golden rules of my fanfics:
1) Every fanfic has a happy ending (the evil guy is defeated) and no Masters of the Universe characters die (sometimes, the evil characters I intorduce die)
2) Usually, the main evil character survives somehow and may appear in a future fanfic.
3) Most of my stories are inspired from a show and introduce new characters

Prey of the slavers: Teela, Evil Lyn and some other Eternain females are captured by intergalactic slavers and forced to do battle, same as the gladiators, in the Arena of Carnage (an intergalatic battlezone which is the main source of fun for sadistic rich aliens).

This one is one that I wrote during the time that my finger was injured, but it is a pretty good one anyway.

Memoirs of a Crimefighter: The Sorceress has sent the leader of the Crimefighters of Greyskull, Lady Khamehameha, to Eternia to protect her from the evil members of the Nightstalker clan. She is part of a prophecy that will bring balance to the forces of good and evil. She ends up befriending He-Man, and the two of them team up to learn more about the prophecy and what it will mean to the safety of the universe.

The story is now completed. A sequel is in the works right now, which involves the Batman.

5/22/07:

A special edition of the story is now posted, which includes another person's reaction to a very bad joke.

12/4/06:

Primal Instincts: The sequel to Memoirs of a Crimefighter. Eighteen months after He-Man has left Eternia for Primus, Lady Khamehameha and the gang decide to join him with the aid of some of Shimmera's friends. At the same time, the Batman and Khami's brother, Dragonlord, appear on the planet to complete a mission. A mission, which will change the lives of Lady Khamehameha and He-Man forever.

1/8/07:

Status: The story is completed. There is a surprise appearance from a couple of friends from Memoirs of a Crimefighter, but I am not revealing who they are yet. Yet another sequel is in the works right now, with appearances from a couple of X-Men.

2/1/07

The Power Of One: Sequel to Primal Instincts. Three months after the death of Drake Nightstalker, the evil Nightstalkers and the Horde have invaded Earth. One of the evil ones has been resurrected and is out for revenge. The only ones who can defeat him are the forces led by Lady Khamehameha and a very powerful He-Man.

2/27/07

Status: This story is completed. The guys from Yu Yu Hakusho make appearances in the story, as well as two of the X-Men, Cyclops and Wolverine. Another sequel is in the works, with a new narrator and a few twists.

3/26/07

Justice: Sequel to The Power of One. Six months after finally defeating the evil Nightstalkers, a new evil, created by the Horde, enters Chelonia Valley. The evil one's quest: to open up the Demonic Portal. The only remaining key to the portal is in the possession of She-Ra. She and her allies, including the Crimefighters of Greyskull and the Demonic Trio, must stop the evil one from getting to the portal--or disaster will befall the planet.

4/2/07

Status: This story is completed. There are a few new characters, and a major twist that no one expected.

8/24/07

A King and a Spirit Detective: Weeks after the death of his father at the hands of the vampire Kistaran, Adam returns to Eternia and assumes the role of king. When the Crimefighter Shokwave mysteriously appears after the coronation and reveals that the vampire is now loose, the intergalactic Spirit Detective teams up with team Urameshi and the Justice League to find a way to get rid of Kistaran once and for all

Secret War of Greyskull: A mysterious being sends He-Man, She-Ra, Lady Khamehameha, and Khami's two friends, Yusuke and Kurama, to another planet to participate in a battle to decide who is better--good or evil. Special appearance by Spider-Man

Return of the Warrior: Seven years after the Secret War, the mysterious Arachnon helps the Horde reconquer Etheria. The team goes to the planet to help, but Adam has refused to become He-Man after he killed Josiah Nightstalker. It's up to the others to help him become the Warrior again before Arachnon does the unthinkable.

Status: The story is completed. It is told from the points of view of many characters. It is also the only one of my stories that is not in the Archives.
