Radio Recording PRograms

Is there one that just constantly WORKS, and will record direct from an internet stream?
Woke up this morning to find my program not recording. it seems to do it randomly once a month...and apparently there was some news i missed this morning. figures.

i'd like a program that can record from a net stream that doesn't rely on that companies central server being u to do the record. all locally on the users machine.. any ideas?

Hey Shredder!

The app I use is Wire Tap Pro, however, it is only for Mac. Not sure what platform you're using, but I highly suggest that one if you're using OSX. Works great! It doesn't rely on a server running, it's a digital equivalent of a tape recorder -- push record and it records whatever audio you have playing on your computer. Everything is captured locally.

Whoops, using windows . And I'd need something that can be set to record through a timer. I'm never up at 6AM ,
