I started watching Little House on the Prairie this morning and there are several episodes on Disc 1 of Season 1 and 2 that won't play ..and I KNOW how places won't take back opened dvd's, so what do I do?!?!?!

My new mom (mother-in-law) bought them for me for Christmas because she knew it would be a great way for me to feel closer to my mom (who died in 2006) since we always used to watch them together when I was younger. I really wanted to watch all of these episodes from start to finish.

Someone else might have other suggestions, but it seems likely you will end up having to contact the manufacturer and hope they have replacements.

I've exchanged scratched DVD's/Blu-Rays at both Best Buy and Wal-Mart. I didn't even need a receipt. As long as you exchange it for the same exact item, there shouldn't be a problem.

Hey Benny, where did you get that awesome Danzig CD? Was it's release exclusive to Hell? I must have missed it!!

You should be able to return them. Places that I've returned movies to just have you get the exact same item. You might wanna check online and see if any others are having problems. When I bought the complete Stargate SG-1 series, a couple episodes were fine except when one character spoke...no sound period. I returned it & the same. Several others had posted about issues with sound layering. My last resort? Buy season 1, swap discs, return to it to the store & traded the good replacement season to my comic shop. Hope you find someway around it, especially with it having sentimental value.
