200X/MYP toon Custom MOTUC - The General

First off.. a moment of silence for the Draegoman that gave his life for this figure....

Ok, now on to the coolness...

I literally "just finished" this custom MOTUC figure and I HAD to post this pic of my most recent custom, I AM LOVING THIS GUY!!! AWESOME LOOKING!!!

This is a MYP MOTUC translation of "The General" Rattlor, using the direct cartoon colors...

Figure uses ALL EXISTING PARTS! Only modifications I made were I sanded off the points on the head above the eyes, and the points on the back of the head above the neck.

I also gave him a Classics version of his toy staff/weapon [not pictured] in the two toned purple as his belt, and a neck extension I had extra [also not pictured].

Nah, both the arms and legs are from my poor broken Draegoman that suffered the wrath of a enraged high drama Xgirlfriend hissyfit... lol.
[She got mad an chucked him "VERY HARD" against a brickwall.. chipped the brick.. so ya.. HARD!]

Having taken MAJOR damage... he became a replace an use as parts fodder figure...

I am curious to why you went with the purple and not the gunmetal look to the bracers? The belt is different also. Personal preference?

For this figure, I decided that I wanted to use the direct cartoon colors for this custom to make him more unique compared to the other Snakemen we have an will be getting.

...I will add this image to the first post to clarify.

I agree! Totally would have purchased this version had it been available. All he needs is his armor and he's perfect.

Thanks for the compliments on the figure so far everyone.

To answer the questions, I would be more than happy to post an updated picture once the 200X Rattlor toy armor arrives and is repainted to match. As well as a picture [when/if the MOTUC General's armor is released next year].

Look terrific! I suppose that the head is from the 200X version? If so is amazing how well fits in the new classics body.

Everyone thinks its the 200X toy head for some reason... its not guys I SWEAR HONESTLY ITS NOT! lol.
Its actually just one of the closed mouthed snake men 2pack heads with a simple repaint an trimming & sanding of the "points on the head around the eyes" an a nice dark wash around the eyes an paint touchup over the wash to make the "eye shadow" around the eyes more defined on Rattlor as in looked on him in the cartoon. This snakeman head just happenned" to be perfectly shaped to do... how lucky was that to notice?!!

...or was this the head for "the general" the entire time?? Who knows...

Wow! Really a beautiful job.

It's amazing that it just uses existing parts.

I would buy this in a heartbeat if Mattel offered it as a variant.
