Let's put this argument to a rest once and for all: How to put on Battle Cat's helmet

So there are some vocal minorities that have constantly been pointing out that Battle Cats helmet is on "wrong" in some pictures of peoples collection.

I've pointed out a long time ago that if the helmet is not put completely down it would be impossible for the eyes to line up.

Turns out we were both wrong - to an extent though, I was slightly right.

Here is the picture to prove it.
Any other position other then pushed all the way down will only reach the eyebrows or higher, making it impossible for Battle Cat to see through, All the way down you get the corner of the eye in the slit:

as you can see, with it plonked down completely you can just see the corner of the eye. If it sits higher it misses completely.

When He-man and Battle Cat were on sale together I got 2 extra, one for customs, so this one was getting sliced up anyways

Oh it wasn't you that was the most vocal about this. I was always in the camp that meant that people should display him as they wanted.

Well I'm putting a wash to his fur now, Planning on doing some highlighting as well - and change the stripes from orange to red.
It'll be a mount for Wundar or Vikor me thinks.

Also added some battle damage to battle cat, and cut down the saddle quite a bit (saddle and helmet will also be given a new paintjob.)

I doubt that the 4H sculpted it with the intention of making the eyes line up perfectly. If they had, there would probably be holes in the eyes of the helmet. The inside of the helmet is sculpted with an indent for BC's nose. IDK how the eyes line up, but when the indent rests on the nose, the thing's on right. Boo-ya!

That wasn't the original argument but you're right, and for it to line up with the dent, you have to put it down completely.

After reading this thread, I found the nose indent on the helmet and pushed the helmet lower onto his face. I like it a lot better that way. Looks more aggressive imo.

I agree, I didn't think you meant me, just I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT about his eyes not lining up!

it's nice to see that they do though!

I'm probably one of the few that display's my panthor with his mask. I like it! but as was said the head sculpts ARE great, but so is the helmet sculpt!
