I found some time to do a quick sketch and color. hope you guys like it. I am much more of a "concept" guy, so maybe i might be able to do my submission more justice later this week, and give you guys better art to see, but for now i will explain a bit.

I never believed that stridor was fisto's horse. Fisto is one of my favorites, but I saw, even at my young foolish age, that it was a marketing ploy to have a horse for jitsu as well. I mean, honestly, if there was a villain with a long neck, using Mek's body, it might have even been his.

that being said, i have always loved the color scheme of Stridor, and thought this was a perfect opportunity to give him, a great classic character a true companion, with a good storyline. so in my lore, Sir Laser Lot would be Stridors true rider.

sleeveless arm on one side, and armored up arm on other with shoulder armor and chest armor for riding purposes I tried to follow more of a stridor color scheme. regular blue pants, and brown books, with a brown top underneath his armor, there is still a few things i want to take a look at and maybe fix, or add details, but here he is, SIR LASER LOT!

I was trying to create that energy-generating look, but I'm a complete novice at PhotoShop stuff, so hopefully he doesn't look too muddy or amatuerish

Hey, shouldn´t this thread be moved to "Other Fan Creation Forum", I don´t see MOTU here... who is this Iron Man/Dungeon & Dragons character? lol

At least I see good art here... hope we see more real MOTU redesigns and less "some random guy fanfiction characters" redesigned...

very cool and i agree. makes that central tower a little bit more interesting, along with SLL at the same time. very cool... something.... mattel should have thought of i mean, they are so creative..........

lots of great artworks here, recently.

i'm a great fan of gbagok and bearshow' style, and they both made
an amazing work, but blastattak's vision of laser-lot really shines:
you really nailed it, sir. nice thing is that this style could be also
used for an awesome version of extendar.

that being said...
crusader: great take on the character, especially on the wway the weapons
are powered up;

the block: interesting redesign, it has a kinda "ancient illustration" vibe
to be;

tech trek: really like how you put in different nods to stridor and man-at-arms'
armory;

ayota: love the central tower lion theme. very creative interpretation of
the energized hand and weapon (maybe a little creepy, but in a good way).

thanks CB, I wasnt really going MAA, but the designs on stridor, is where I got most of the design work for SLL, and my colors are a bit off, but this is how it would look set up!!!!......

I was thinking I had to have it in BY the 31st. Any how I'm glad I got a chance to add these elements in. I feel like the 3 looks were necessary because they explain one another in a way.
