As I’ve mentioned before, these issues are kind of a “season finale” as I’m still working on the next batch of comics, which will cover the second wave of the toy lines. Wave two will also be an eight-issue story arc and I think you guys are really going to enjoy what I have in store for you.

Over the past couple of months I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the number of downloads my comics have received (when I started I didn’t know if I’d get even one) so I want to thank each of you who have been reading. I really appreciate it. I hope I’m doing MOTU and POP justice and would love to hear your feedback now that the first chapter of these series has come to a close.

Great story ideas, zacmasters. I hope to see the resurrection of King Hiss soon (I hope by the magic of Skeletor). A power struggle between both would be interesting, too (leading to a submission of one of them). Then they could attack Castle Grayskull together... just some propositions. I fully trust in your creativity...

As more of the back story is revealed, we will find out that the King of the Snake Men killed in Issue #2 was King Hiss' father and we'll find out how Hiss comes to power. Can't wait to get to those issues!

Update on Wave 2: The next issues of MOTU and POP should be available about Sept. 17, assuming life doesn't cause any delays. I think the scripts came out really well and I'll be starting the bulk of the artwork soon (some of it is already done). I'll post bits of artwork as it becomes available.

Update on Wave 2: I'm working on the artwork and thought I'd share a couple of preliminary pieces I have ready. These are both close to being finished - they just need a few coloring tweaks (especially Clawdeen, who is currently about 3 different shades of pink).

Season two of my MOTU and POP comics are coming along well and I should have a preview of the upcoming issues posted sometime in the next week. In the meantime, I thought I would share a sneak peak at another project I'm working on. Remember to click on the pic for best resolution.

Masters of the Universe and Princess of Power Season Two is nearly here (finally!) and I wanted to take this moment to give you guys a preview of what’s to come. I told myself after the first batch that I was going to use less backgrounds and character designs this time around to make it easier on myself... but that didn’t work out. I had too many cool ideas and I didn’t want to skimp on them so I’ve pushed the start date to Sept. 24 to give me enough time to finish up the artwork and formatting. I’m really pleased with the scripts for season two and I’m enjoying how this story is coming together. I won’t spoil anything, but here is a glimpse of what you can expect.

* All of the wave two characters from vintage toy lines will appear, including such favorites as Trap Jaw, Evil-Lyn, Ram Man, Perfuma, Sweet Bee, and others. There will also be plenty of new characters, including an all-new villain with a very personal connection to Princess Adora’s past.

* We will travel to many new locations on both Eternia and Etheria (hence the big load of new artwork for me), including Stratos’ hometown of Avion and the Dwarven city of Hammerguard, where we meet Ram Man’s family (in one of my favorite stories for season two). On Etheria, the Great Rebellion travel to such places as the cloud realm of Haven and the mysterious Mystic Gardens. We even get to see Etheria in the distant past.

* I don’t want to spoil anything storyline-wise, so I’ll just mention a few tidbits. In MOTU we will find out what happened to the Sorceress and learn of an ancient prophecy that concerns the future of Eternia. In POP, the life of one main character depends on She-Ra and the rebels discovering the secret of Crystal Falls, all while being pursued by a deadly new Horde threat.
