I just saw a strange one "Girley" about a psychotic family the kidnaps people for playmates it was made in the uk in 1970
007 OP 5/6
Why doesnt this movie get more cred......the plot seems quite plausible , esp if we're talking early 80s
Jourdan did a fine job as the swarmy Kamal Khan , Gobinda was the 80s Oddjob.
Khan : Spend the money *quickly* , mr Bond !
007 AVTAK 4/6
The firetruck scene I could do w/o , belongs more in a PA movie (yeah , the Moore era....but still)
Walken is awesome as Zorin , I also like that May Days background is a mystery : was she a killer prior to meeting Zorin or perhaps a model ?
Tibbett (Bonds chafeur) and Mortner aka Hans Glaub (Zorins "dad") are good side characters.
After 23 yrs/14 films we bid adieu to Moneypenny and Sir Rog (7 films)
Zorin : I'm happiest.....IN the saddle !
Bond : What about fishing.....fly casting ?
Zorin : You must excuse me....I'm neglecting my other guests.
Don't you have better thing to do than read this stupid signature
Tony Clifton : Kaufman was a hack....hack sack pack nack !

The original 1931 classic "Dracula" more better made ones have come along since with better effects but I STILL think this one's the best.
Starchild's #1 fan!!
Spielberg's new Tintin movie.
It was excellent.![]()
Hot Tub Time Machine with my wife's cousin. Pretty blasted funny.
Sadly, you can't divorce emotion from a toyline based on nostalgia.
Got Man-E-Faces, give 'em Whiplash when I Battle-Cats
J, Edgar
was good
The last movie I saw was Harold and Kumar's 3D Christmas and it was rather funny.
Before that I saw the Lion King in 3D and that was a disappointment. I didn't think it held up well like Aladdin and say Beauty and the Beast have for me.

In the last few days I've watched:
Mars Attacks (ack ack)
Batman (Keaton & Nicholson)
The Saint
Gone with the Wind
Live & Let Die
Event Horizon
J. Edgar in the theater. I think it'll get a nom and maybe win. Imo Army Hammer's a lock for Best Supporting.
Tonight Rocky II on DVR. Gawd it holds up,.
Die Hard. Not only the best Christmas classic, but possibly the best movie ever.
Die Hard 2: Die Harder. Not only the best Christmas sequel, but possibly the best sequel ever.
Batman (1989): This movie was my favorite as a 6 year old. Though, I can’t believe my parents took me to this. This is the first in a long line of “dark superhero movies” that we continue to see today. This movie is awesome.
I’m very happy with this weeks choices for movies.. I’m starting to wonder why I ever watch new movies.. the best movies came out long ago! Lol.
Though, I can have fun with new movies as well. Last weekend I saw The Muppets. Good times, and then later on, I watched Muppets: Letters to Santa which is a recent Christmas special they did. I got a few chuckles. Good times.
Showdown In Little Tokyo. Words can't even describe it.![]()
