Sky (Black) Shadow was my 2nd favorite Transformer released last year. (Amazon exl. Unicron was my favorite.) I love the transformation: not too complicated or too simple. Thunderwing and Sky Shadow were a real surprise given that there are both US and Japanese characters that are more well known.

Runabout and Runamuck are cool. If they were available at retail I’d pick them up. I just can’t shell out for them. Metalhawk, Gigatron, and one more rarity I have coming to me are pretty much it for my big spending this year.

I got Reprolabel's Classics stickers for Hercules Long Haul, Mixmaster and Scrapper. I made a mistake in ordering the Scrapper set as I don't have Hercules Scrapper. I have Hercules Bonecrusher. Oh well, I guess I'll have to place another order and get some sticker sets for Cyclonus and the seeker jets.















Plus I got a 6" Mumm-Ra. I would have preferred an Mumm-Ra in 8" scale but I got this one because it was there and in case they don't make an 8" one.

Yup, yup. I always liked the look of those ROM comics whenever I used to peruse them at my local bookstore as a kid. However, given my limited funds I could only buy my favorites (X-Men and Spider-Man). I bought a couple as a kid and that has pretty much carried over to my adult years. Now that I have the means, I plan on buying the entire 75 issue run of ROM comics (which, because they are relatively cheap, at present I am only 14 issues away from doing).

Nah, Ice Cream Phil. My love was born from the comics and their awesome covers. Speaking of which more ROM comics I got in the previous bundle:

Maybe I'll look into that. The best collectible is a cheap collectible. That's why I like the Toy Biz X-men so much.

Yeah, he was pretty much stuck in the armor since the beginning. He's a cyborg (organic and inorganic pieces meshed together) with most of his human parts (humanity) left in storage on his home planet, Galador.

Maybe I'll look into that. The best collectible is a cheap collectible.

Nah, I really don't want many different versions of the same character from different lines. I go with Toy Biz because they were prominent when the first animated series was running. I suppose I view those similarly to the way I view vintage MOTU and Filmation. Of course, they are going to make them bigger and better as the years go by, but they will never be as cool as the forerunners no matter how big and bad they become

I will always buy the bigger better version of Juggy whenever he comes out and that's what the Marvel Select Juggernaut is right now. Yeah, my loyalty is not to the x-men as a brand; it's to the original animated series, the arcade game, and the toy biz line. That's about all I have to do with x-men. I'm not a superhero guy. I've never even watched any of the movies. I prefer fantasy, nostalgia, and sci-fi. The x-men cartoon was one of the only good things I can remember from the mid-90's (a horrible time for me personally). So that is probably why I like it so much. Anyway, I can't really afford to buy multiples of guys; there's too much other stuff to buy.
