Wowsers. Can't see the figures very well, but the updates for the cartoon look pretty good, imo.
They are very interesting! Check them out at ThunderCats Lair Forums!

It's suppose to be no cameras allowed. At least he got something!
The PR-pic for the toon does look great.
Panthro's sideburns look interesting....
Looks from the sword pic indicate a telescoping Sword of Omens too

I'm totally looking forward to the classics line!
I really hope Bandai makes more than just Lion-O.
He is advertised as 20cm which is 8 Inches, that's huge!
The new designs are very nice but not my thing to collect as toys.
MY MOTUC WANTS: SKY SLED, Rio Blast, Extendar, Gwildor, Eldor, Glimmer, Kowl, Angella, Mermista, Sweet Bee, Peekablue, Sea Hawk, Madame Razz, Huntara, Hydron, Master Sebrian, Sagitar, Tuskador, Darius, Mara, Two Bad, Saurod, Hunga the Harpy, Evil Seed, Masque, Horde Trooper, Modulok, Dragstor, Imp, Scorpia, Vultak, Entrapta, Tung Lashor, Sssqueeeze, NA Skeletor, Flogg, Lizorr, Hoove, Critta
8 inches is a bit bigger than your Classic figures...overall though I can see now why Larry Kenney joined the cast. I dont think he wouldve joined if the series was not going to be true to the original. The regular toys do seem a bit flimsy and not as sturdy as the LJN toys.
Im still not kee on Lion-O 's new look but it will rpobably grow on me

Wow thanks for posting this. I'm undecided if I'm going to collect these yet but the cartoon images look great!

I'll need to see better pics of the figures before I decide if I want these. I'm just afraid of the sculpts being too soft or non-detailed. We'll see. I do like the designs over all. And how cool is it that they are launching with a new Thundertank!
Really interesting!
but when we see it?
The toys will be sold in stores or online? Who produces them?
I agree with the positive respones. I'll be interested to see how the cartoon is handled and if it pulls me in completely but regardless I'll be picking up that Sword of Omens.![]()
The figures look disappointing but the animation designs look like a very decent update. I will wait until further better pictures surface before making my final decision
The pictures of the newly designed characters upsets my stomach a little, I really not a fan of Panthro's design, not big on Cheetara's either, and is Tygra holding a GUN? Although I do like Lion-O's look a lot, I really like that for him. I remember seeing fan art years and years ago of him looking a lot like that, I also like that he looks a lot younger, like I felt his character in the original series should have been represented.
Cheetara's hair reminds me a little of the Sorceress from Out Of The Past.![]()
I guess if/when I see these in the stores that I'll buy them.![]()

I'm honestly sort of bummed that the TC Classics will be so much bigger than MOTUC. I had really hoped that they would be in scale with one another.
Oh well, at least my wallet will be happier.![]()
Interesting. Hope they do well. I like what I see so far.
We survived the long night.... MOTU Forever!
Interesting, I thought that the figures on the pictures were 3 3/4" size.
If there would be 8" figures it would be hard for me to get those because of shipping rates![]()

My feedback thread
Not being a fan of 2-3 inch tall figures is troublesome for me. The animated designs look good so far.
