Wowsers. Can't see the figures very well, but the updates for the cartoon look pretty good, imo.
It's suppose to be no cameras allowed. At least he got something!
The PR-pic for the toon does look great.
Panthro's sideburns look interesting....
Looks from the sword pic indicate a telescoping Sword of Omens too

I'll wait until I see the cartoon before passing judgement(or at least better pics), but I'm not loving what I see(but it also doesn't have me shaking my fists to the heavens either). Cheetara reminds me of Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner...
Is this a fashion trend I'm not hip to? Hasbro made G.I. Joe: Renegades' Roadblock another bald guy with sideburns. Since Panthro was my favorite character from the original show, I'm not a big fan of his new hairstyle.
What route is that? I started to watch the pilot episode but turned it off not long after "The Rock" was killed.
While I prefer the original designs, I'm OK with a younger Lion-O, Tigra with a gun, and an anorexic hooker..er...I mean Cheetara. On the other hand Panthro, who was one of my favorite toy/toon characters from my childhood, is absolute crap imho. Bald guys should not grow mutton chops. Also, why are his forearms so hairy?

The pictures of the newly designed characters upsets my stomach a little, I really not a fan of Panthro's design, not big on Cheetara's either, and is Tygra holding a GUN? Although I do like Lion-O's look a lot, I really like that for him. I remember seeing fan art years and years ago of him looking a lot like that, I also like that he looks a lot younger, like I felt his character in the original series should have been represented.
Cheetara's hair reminds me a little of the Sorceress from Out Of The Past.![]()
I guess if/when I see these in the stores that I'll buy them.![]()

I'm honestly sort of bummed that the TC Classics will be so much bigger than MOTUC. I had really hoped that they would be in scale with one another.
Oh well, at least my wallet will be happier.![]()
Interesting. Hope they do well. I like what I see so far.
We survived the long night.... MOTU Forever!
Interesting, I thought that the figures on the pictures were 3 3/4" size.
If there would be 8" figures it would be hard for me to get those because of shipping rates![]()

Not being a fan of 2-3 inch tall figures is troublesome for me. The animated designs look good so far.

The designs look pretty fantastic. I'm really loving the updates, and I hope that people reserve their whining.
Its not 1987 anymore. Baby blue onesies aren't not an acceptable level of awesome by todays standards for superhero costumes, and mime make-up is not cool. Let the new looks breathe a little, and give the new toon a chance before you have a nerd tantrum.
Personally I'm glad the line is a 6'' scale. I'll display them with my 200X. Stylistically, they're probably closer anyway.

the toons look alight but the toys look terrible guess they had a bunch of teen titans parts left over.
And so I walk, into the searing light which banishes all darkness, surrendering my face and form to atoms of dust, seeking the true darkness of peace, the cool shadows of eternity and the unknown fate of nothingness

I'm not big on the "ANIMÛÛÛÛÛÛÛ :3" look they're going for. But I guess that's the price they were willing to pay in order to attract a younger audience.
