Who is the stronger flyer - Stratos or Buzz-Off?

Who do you consider to be the stronger flyer out of Stratos and Buzz-Off?

Both have the power of flight and various abilities to go with it, but who is the strongest in your opinion?

As far as natural ability, I would say Buzz-Off. Take away the staff and he's grounded, save for some mad-jetpack skills. I love them both dearly, butBuzz-Off was mmade to fly!

In the Filmation toon, Stratos didn't need a jet pack to fly. In fact, flight was his main power, so relying on a pack would nullify what made him special, IMO.

Buzz-Off never looked like he could fly very quickly to me--a zephyr wind, and he was down for the count.

I think Stratos is better, due to experience.

Buzz-Off is younger (due to his rashness) and stronger (he picks up a tree in the MYP episode where he fights the giants), but with his experience, Stratos can outfly him, is faster due to his jetpack and can fire energy blasts from his hands, whereas Buzz-Off can fire from his axe. If Stratos destroys the axe, Buzz-Off's strength means nothing if he can't catch Stratos.

Now is Sy-Klone were in the mix, he'd destroy them both!

In MOTUC, Stratos' bio says that they can fly because of the Staff of Avion. The jetpack makes them go faster.

I would like to think with Buzz-Off being a 'bee' man, he's insect-like. And so, kinda light. Don't know exactly what I mean by that. But I guess that'd make him faster and easier to take flight. Plus, look at the size of those wings!!!! lol

Or, it could just be that he's the newest figure in my collection - and one of the best sculpted at that, I have to say. So, I'm still in love with him.

Can I change my vote? I initially voted for Stratos. With my biology degree I judged them based off the Earth animals most closely resembling these Eternian species. But forgetting that many Earth insects have strength and speed in much greater proportion to their size than most birds, and that Buzz-Off is roughly one million times the mass of an average Earth bee, I change my vote to Buzz-Off on the assumption that his strength, speed, and maneuverability would also be greatly disproportionate to his size.

who can fly the furthest without getting tired? something tells me Stratos is a better flyer although buzz off is more natural flyer moving on reflex & going long distances (he may still get tired).

"strongest" is a bit esoteric for me, so I voted Buzz-Off.

But my breakdown, simple and fast is that Stratos would be the faster flyer, where as Buzz-Off would be the more manuverable.

A Jet versus a Helicopter. Guess it matters what you want it to do. Speed or versatility?

But I picked Buzz-Off because he was born to fly. I have never really known or understood what the flying monkeys were, but they werent inherent flyers.

I wouldn't know which one's the strongest, but I do know Stratos is better suited for spying missions than Buzz-Off.
Buzz-Of is too loud. He'd give his position away with the loud buzzing.

Statos, he's a flyer with the brute strength of a ape and can use his rockets for a boost when he needs it.

Buzz Off is more of a hoverer... and a bug.

how about the strength of a 200 lb bee? still though, bees are not fast fliers when compared with other insects. however, i don't think stratos would be very fast either without his jetpack.

Buzz-Off.

For so many reasons. He's a bee and they're pretty amazing all to themselves. Stratos is an ape-man with a jetpack. His powers derive from a magic spell and the jetpack is for additional power in case anything went wrong. Buzz-Off can fly while carrying something and Stratos is ultimately killed off.

Stratos simply rolls up one of Tytus' old newspapers and SWATS Buzz Off like the pest that he is.
