Here's Karl's redo of He-Man!

I love this! I don't know if I'd put SO many spikes on battle cat though, but thats just me. What I really like about Karl's pictures though is that he does is own take on them. Whether its how you would want it to look or not it always makes for an interesting work and gives you something to think about. I loev how big battle cat is! he's huge! And the take on the castle in the distance is cool too!

Love this idea, because I actually think it works. Also nice to see He-man portrayed with a little bit more power to him.

This one is a mixed bag. There's some stuff I really like and there's some stuff I don't.
My biggest issue is why didn't he give Battelcat a saber teeth but that's just a preference issue!

Definitely an interesting piece though!

I like it, but it's not really blowing my skirt up. He looks rather like a cave-man and his arms quite fat.

I like the huge battlecat and his take on Grayskull but the main man himself looks more Conan than He-Man with just a hint of Frank Castle (the Punisher) to his face (the stubble)

His style reminds me of Frank Quitely (comic artist).

Anyhoo, I like the fact that Karl is doing "his" vision of MotU... kinda like Baena did his. Also Karl much prefers the old MotU, I have shown him all the eras and he prefers the Alcala, Texeira stuff.

I'm not loving the Stay Puft Battle Cat, he seems more like a triceratops or a kitty version of the Spit Bull vehicle, I think making him into a hulking brutish looking creature detracts from his personality for me. It's just too far from what "my" Battle Cat ought to be I guess.
It might be a better look for Panthor perhaps, still an awesome drawing though, I can't fault the skills or talent, it's just too different from what I'm used to I guess.
Some original Fan-Created characters done by the same artist would be sweet!

Thanks guys for the compliments and just so that people who don't get the big cat idea, I think that bc has to be big in order to carry the most powerful man in the universe. He's a mount which makes alot more sense to me. "Battle"cat not "*****"cat.

The Teela one is especially lovely.
I'd be nice to have high-res version of it for some colour-practise.

I would have liked seeing Prince Adam in the backround too, since there seems to be an empty space.

Lot of details which is always fantastic to look at.
I feel like I should be searching for Loo-Kee or Waldo!

I d like his style a lot, does he have a DA page, Iceman?

He-Man and BattleCat - The boots on He-Man seem a little chunky, but I like the overall look. He looks a lot more hardcore than MYP and Filmation He-Man. Also like the new sword as well. Battlecat's pose makes him look more squat and tank like, but thats more because he's not "standing" up, if you see what I mean. The battle armour is a nice evolution from the original. I also like the new look Grayskull.

Skeletor - My feelings remain the same. Great upper half. Still not sure on the demon legs.

Teela - Loving the new staff and I like that he went with the MYP version as well, as I much prefer it.
