    To you which is the best version of He-Man so far?
    I have to say that it is the Toys R' Us He-Man.
    Best paint job on a He-Man figure so far.

    The He-Man re-issue. Only I put the TRU head on him. I really like how the lighter bond hair and the brown wash works.

    Tough call. I don't have the re-issue. I like the original one...the red seems to show up more in pictures than in person, and mine is pretty good. Adds colour to his face. And the figure itself is still sturdy as hell.
    Battle Armor He-Man is pretty cool too though. I didn't have it when I was a kid, but it's still the 2nd most iconic look for him. It's been my display He-Man for a couple months now. Loose ankles though.
    I don't have the DC version but I don't think I want it either. The head looks nice but it's a very questionable-looking repaint from the neck down.

    Ay Caramba!

    Have to think! And how come Wun-Dar is not up there? He's a He-man version too!

    Now, I like all versions. Each one has both advantages and disadvantages from each one so it's hard to choose just one, but I must!

    The original, 1st release looks cool and shinier but the re-release also has some + points. The BA version rocks and I the TRU one has some color advantages. I think I'll choose.....

    Oh this was a hard one! But I had to go with 'He-Man' I have no issues with the Red around the eyes, as whiplash77 said, it shows up more in pics than in person.

    I also love BAH, the armor is brilliantly done, a very clever compromise on the vintage action feature! (cant wait for BAS!!)

    and the DC version is beautiful, I love the pink Jewels on the belt for the contrast. but his hairs too Banana smoothy and not enough Blonde for me!
    I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

    Reissue for me, although I love them all!

    Bring on Jungle Attack, Thunder Punch, Flying Fists, Ice Armor, Snake Armor, Slime Pit, Preternia Disguise, and DC Comics Adam toys, Mattel!!!
    Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time.     Probably in the minority, but I love the original issue. Probably because I had very little red around the eyes, and to me it looks like like he's squinting into the sun over a vast landscape. Really looks like the wanderer from the mini comics.

    The TRU He-Man for me is the best as he more closely reflects the Filmation He-Man. He is followed by BA He-Man of course!

    King Grayskull is kind of a He-Man version as well. He is the original design for 200X He-Man, even though Mattel apparently found him too manly and he got turned into a separate character. Canonicity be damned but he is my favorite He-Man!
