MYP in MOTUC by Battle_Brak

I decided to start a single thread to hold all of these since I've done a few now. If a mod would be so kind as to merge or close the other two threads (MYP in MOTUC: Sorceress and MYP in MOTUC: Queen Veena) it would be much appreciated.

Now for my next MOTUC figure concept: Evil Lyn.

Like the Sorceress, Evil Lyn is a character for which I love both the classic and 200X designs. Unlike the Sorceress, she's a character that's 200X version seems to be more popular amongst fans in general than the classic look. So hopefully we'll see her somewhere down the line.

Here's MYP Adam

Since toyguru said there was a possibility that DCUC parts would be used for Adam I based him off of parts from Captain Cold and Kid Flash. His vest, belts and head would be newly tooled but the majority of the figure is recycled DCUC.

Ooh! Evil-Lyn looks nice. Simple, not too drastic, but still has her 200X element on her. Probably just need to change her crown a bit.

Adam looks cool also. Great work man!

I would have, but I figure they want to save as much on tooling costs as they can, and I want these to be as close as possible to what the actual figures might look like.

My newest addition MYP Randor

I was very conservative with new tooling on this design. Only the cape, head, and armbands are new. I would like to see a figure that goes a little further than this with new parts, but seeing as Randor wasn't the swiftest seller Mattel likely won't spend much on a refresh.

Ah, GREAT work on Randor! Never would have thought to use the BA He-Man armor. Looks great! Especially good idea for the leg; figured just the boot would change, but changing it all bellow the knee looks fantastic.

Thanks for all of the comments, criticism, and praise. It's a lot of fun doing these mockups and I'm glad some of you seem to get a kick out of them.

I thought those were the MYP colors, just a little more saturated. I don't have the DVDs on me and I couldn't find decent reference. If you PM me some reference I'll gladly fix him up.

Thanks Alexx. It almost seems to me the 4 Horsemen had this planned since all of the other shins are cut above the boot and we've heard that an MYP Randor may be in the plans. Like I said I hope he has more original tooling than my mock-up, but I'd still buy it in a heartbeat as is.

awesome work on these i'm so looking forward to geting trap jaw to take a shot at your 200x randor design. and your prince adam concept is very possible to make if they do a 200x version.

And now for something a little weird...

It's the 4 Horsemen's concept Zodak/Alien Enforcer. While not technically MYP he is a cool concept from the 200x era. He's a relatively simple recipe. Optikk's lower body, Zodak's upper body, Tung Lashor's hands (hey they gotta make him sometime), and a new head and belt.

Nope, yellow.. The Horsemen reinvented him as an actual alien creature for the 200x line.

I updated Randor based on some new parts. I also gave him unique chest armor since it ties in so well with the Marzo loincloth.

AWESOME Randor! Think you could whip one up of Captain Randor and King Miro (Captain in the MYP 'toon)? I love all of your designs and would love to see how they would look in MOTUC. Randor is simply a thing of beauty.

I made him as if he were a possible bonus figure. The only new parts are the head, tail, and shoulders.
