Cup of microwaved water in the microwave fro about 3 minutes, then soak the legs for about 2 minutes. The boots should just pop right off.
Any words of advice for boot swapping?
I finally got around to doing some hair dryer heat and pops that I wanted to do for some time and while the simple stuff flew by, the boot swap I wanted to do refused to co-operate. The knee and ankle pins were soft, but I couldn't pop the boot out and while for the swap I want to do, it's fine to do the swap at the knees, I'm concerned about tearing the knee pegs rather then popping them.

yeah i was going to suggest the same thing, be sure to hold the knee in place otherwise you could pull that lose when you pull to remove the boots.

Question for those of you who like to make diorama pieces: what brand sculpting tool do you use to sculpt your foam base? I've seen hot knives and sculpting tools on eBay ranging from $30 to $150 (the upper end being the Craftsman version), and I'm not sure which brand I can rely on to make, for example, a Castle Grayskull diorama.

Hey all, I had a quick question for super sculpey users. I used to use milliput back in the day and this is my first time using a clay that needs to be heated. When you are sculpting something ON a figure with super sculpey do you put the whole figure in the oven at 275 F or do you peel off the piece and just hope it doesn't crack and still fits after its heated? What if you already re-painted some of the figure? Will the acrylics melt?
THANKS!
Has anyone successfully removed a Classics Faker's robotic tampo-print? I have an idea, but I need to do so without making it look ugly... Any help?![]()
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Is there any way to easily remove the blister from the card back and keeping it from tearing?

I notice two my MotU Classics figure has small bobble head issue. Both are male figures. What is best way solve this issue? I have fixed similar issue with females. How about fixing same with male figures. thank you.
a simple fix is using the small clear rubber bands that come w/ the figures and pop off the head wrap the rubber band around the lower part of the neck peg and pop the head back on. this should reduce the bobble head movement. the smaller rubberbands are harder to come by but any one will do the trick really just cut the access and glue it.

Get out your scissors and on the bottom of the package cut along the perforated edge all the way across. Now cut each side of the bottom so you create a flap in the shape of a square U. Carefully open the flap and pull out the figure and internal plastic packaging. You can reseal the package with a small bit of scotch tape to display your figure both MOC and loose. My question has to deal with protecting the package upon opening....

I was looking for a way to take the card off without damaging it, but I have a way cooler way to make a re-seal-able card:
My son came up with a cool idea to make this work. To use 2 Stinkor boxes, cut clamshell away from the card about 1 inch all the way around, then cut the other one as close to the card as you can to create one box that can be re-closed with an overlap.
This will give the illusion that it’s still mint in the box unopened, but really you can open and close it at will. (Now you can glue it shut if you so choose.)
Take a close look at the pictures and you can see where the overlap is.

Removing Bubble Power She-Ra's boots to put them on the original She-Ra's legs is a ROYAL pain! The Original She-Ra's boots came off easily, but the BP She-Ra's boots had to be boiled before the came off. Now the tough part is putting the boots on my normal She-Ra.
I totally agree with you there!
Heat up both parts at the same time, that should do it.

I did it! Heating and popping normal She-Ra and BP She-Ra's arms were the easy parts. BP She-Ra's boots were supremely hard to remove! Thanks for the advice, SoK!
I wanted to add the arms and boots of Bubble Power She-Ra to normal She-Ra, because normal She-Ra is of consistent size, i.e., thicker (BP She-Ra is a little skinny in comparison to the other POP gals). So now I have a general purpose She-Ra for displays and a She-Ra for Swiftwind, both with the vintage POP boots and bracers.
Can anyone recommend a strong glue that dries clear? I need to glue some clear stands on something and don't want it to look like there's a dirty patch of crap under the stand--thanks very much!

Can anyone help me find a good sealant to prevent scratches on my custom paint jobs?
I've looked at the shop where I buy my paints, and asked for something for that purpose, the guy there told me about a kind of varmish they use to put over the stickers on model kits, but it tends to be very glossy.
Needing to remove a Clawful belt and loincloth and place it on a Sy-Klone buck (after removing his belt/loin). How do I do this? Do MOTUC figures come apart at the waist (and reattach).
Thanks for the help!
Top Ten MOTUC wants:Two Bad, Rio Blast, Modulok, Scorpia, Sagitar, Lizard Man, Tung Lashor, Multi-Bot, Dragstor, Ninjor,
They do not come apart at the waist, (except King Hsssss). You have heat the figure up, pull off the legs at the thighs, then heat the loin cloth and pull it off (not easy to do). Repeat on the other figure. Then heat the new loin cloth op and slide it on the figure. (Again not easy to do)
Heat the legs then put them back on.
They are all one solid piece.
Like He-bro sd, heat up the thighs pop them off, then heat up the loincloth till soft and pliable and pull that off carefully b/c it could tear/rip then you'd be swearing up a storm!
