Here are some excellent MOTU customs by Nervous from the minimate central boards. I like them much better than the lego ones.

Those appear to be really well-done, but I'm all about the LEGO.
I Could so see them making a LEGO MOTU GAME in the style of indiana jones or Star wars trilogys only masters of the universe. Hom much coding and skins would they have to change? I havent played ANY of the Games mentioned so I wouldnt know the complexity of it. AS I dont know much about this OTHERWISE I'd be on this myself. I mean MOTU needs a game that doesnt suck . IF you could pilot planes in those games the action in a MOTU GAME like that would be a fanboys dream OH well![]()
I'm looking forward to LEGO Batman personally. Yeah, LEGO MOTU needs to happen. That's all there is to it.
(I wanted to start a thread like this. Thank God I used the search function...)
My girlfriend and I are big LEGO fans. We enjoy the toy sets and have played and finished all of their franchise-based video games...
Masters of the Universe LEGO would really be a dream come true for us... The material (with all its different characters and vehicles) is ideal for a translation into LEGO.
Well, certainly better than Speed Racer
One of their recent 'Castle' sets reminded me heavily of Castle Grayskull, by the way... They changed it just enough not to get sued
In fact, has anyone asked Mattel in a Q&A if MotU LEGO had come to their mind?
I've never customized Lego figures, but I imagine it would be pretty easy. The faces and torsos could be done with decals, so you'd need only to find the right hair style and body parts.
And asking Mattel about a Lego or similar block-style line doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. I'd be curious to know a lot of the directions they've considered or are considering taking MOTU.
stumbling across this thread... and this forum...
man, if LEGO ever produced MOTU I'd be in the poor house for sure! Forget MOTUC - I'd be all over MOTU LEGO!
Think of the limitless possibilities... for all three series plus Preternia and more! Makes me wanna drag out the big box collecting dust in the garage and get to building again!! Thanks everyone for the links, pix, and inspiration!

My current wants: MOTUC Blade, Clamp Champ, Hawk (and other Avions), Ninjor, MYP Sorceress, Stratos (200X variants - but don't get too crazy!).
There are websites that show you how to do just that. The way Lego is going, you can have all sorts of characters. The new troll things could be Beastman or Shadow beasts, the skeletons could be bone warriors etc. Just wish there was a cheap and easy way to get the mini figs.
Mattel work with Lego!!!

This is an amazing thread. I like it!! Love Lego. Thank you guys for the links and photos.![]()
That's why we need the real deal
I posted a LEGO question in ToyGuru's Mattel Q&A. I asked if Mattel has ever considered teaming up with LEGO for a MotU LEGO line...
The question's not MotUC-related, of course, so I reckon the chance it gets picked for the Q&A is pretty slim...
Oh well, let's keep our fingers crossed![]()

My question got selected for the Mattel Q&A!
I guess we'll soon know if we can bury our LEGO MOTU hopes or not...
Man, the more I think of it, the more I believe LEGO MOTU would work.
I mean- it's all there... The colorful settings, the multiple characters, the cool vehicles and playsets, the possibility to translate the brick world into a LEGO videogame by Traveler's Tales...
*continues to keep fingers crossed*

oh those are fun! wish there were motu legos.
yes, LEGO came out with two seperate sets in 2007 - one is a lego castle, the other is a villain's lair/dungeon, it consisted of a Skull face, the drawbridge was the mouth. Combining these two sets makes a pretty good Castle Greyskull - Its why I bought them both![]()

Absolutely outstanding stuff. That Castle Grayskull scene is especially nuts.
I just found this thread
Wow, those lego sets are fantastic
I always wanted GI Joe lego but after looking through this thread I now want MOTU lego.
MOTU Lego would be doable because it is a combination of Castle and Star Wars. I have read that Lego won't do GI Joe because of the military connection
Wow....these are amazing!!!
