Teela with head dress only.
YES! Both Please! The Teela with Snake Head dress and a Green Goddess!
Just the Green Goddess please!
Just Teela with the Snake Head Dress please!
Just Teela, none of this classic silliness!
No thanks, and who is the Green Goddess?
I'm a little bored this Monday morning...
And we all know what a fanatic I am about the Green Goddess...
So here's a poll, just to see what interest there really might be for such a staction.
Even IF she were possible... She'd have to be an exclusive I'd reckon, and she'd probably just be a paint variant off of a Teela with a Snake Head Dress Staction that could be available in a future wave. Just trying to be SOMEWHAT realistic here.
So the poll is pretty self explanitory... Let's see your votes!
My preference for Teela is a standard 200X version. However, if she were to be made with the snake headdress for the purposes of repainting later on, I wouldn't really be upset with that. But I wouldn't buy a Green Goddess staction.
I'll take em both.
Man, that didn't sound right...
Uncle Montork has returned from Trolla!
We NEEED a Teela with her snake-gear, that was the one thing truly lacking in the toy version (Ok, there were a LOT of things wrong with 200X Teela, but bear with me). 99% of the other figures got updates which included all their classic accessories (Snakemen Stactions being an exception), and in some cases new, extra ones. Teela lost all her armor, that ain't right.
And yeah, if we're making that mold anyway, HECK YEAH, I really need a GG for my Preternia sub-collection anyway, He-Ro and Eldor are lonely without her.

Not only does it apply nicely to Masters, but is probably a deep truth.

While the 4HM may not technically have the right to actually make the "Green Goddess", at least not specifically by name, they could simply create a new Teela Staction with her Snake gear, and make a repaint in Green Goddess colors, and simply call it Teela or even a new version of Snake Teela or something.
So, you will be getting exactly (or almost exactly) what the Green Goddess would look like anyway, but it would simply have Teela's name on the packaging.
"Rare minicomic Sorceress Concept!"
"Green Goddess" has a lot of wierd generic things tied to it... flowers, salad dressing, skin creams, herbal ointments and such.
I think you know my answer.
Obey the whip!
Smile like you mean it.
You forgot one option:
Just Teela (with no headdress) and Green Goddess (with headdress).
It just me, but both the Filmation and MYP series did not have Teela wear the headdress. I know the classic toy had it- but it always seemed like a neat, but gimmicky add on to me. Adding the headdress, in my eyes, makes Teela a different character.
So I voted for both- but as separate characters.
A blonde Teela is a bit of a weak repaint, if it's just the hair that's painted.
But I could see them going with the more copper/bronze color they've done with the Teela Microbust on the normal Teela. Then a more traditional gold for the blond Teela...
We'd best be careful here... folks are gonna start asking for the PINK Teela that was featured in some of the minicomics.
Oh oh, and an all white Sorceress too!
Actually, it'd be more of a change than that 'cause the original mini-comics Teela had LONG FLOWING BLONDE HAIR, not hair all tied up as she had it later on. In that case, she'd look quite different to the Goddess, including their ages are a lot different, the Goddess being her mother.
Yep, a new head and a slightly different design for the gold bits on her outfit. Absolutely love those old first generation DC mini-comics, don't you?
EDIT: Check out the difference in the designs of their costumes HERE, on the right hand page at the bottom as they split apart from one another. The main difference that I can see is that the Goddess has three golden leaves on her pelvic region, whilst Teela has a sort of golden cross. It also seems that Teela has a golden braid design around here breasts, whilst the Goddess doesn't.
So yeah, there's certainly enough of a difference to warrant separate stactions for both characters if the 4HM went the purist route.

Yeah, love those DC comics costume interpretations!
They could also spin it off of Alcala's Teela design, which is where the blonde Teela origionated after all.
Seen here in the Vengeance of Skeletor.
Or here in He-Man and the Power Sword.
And then there's some of his best He-Man work in the record book that came with Point Dread and the Talon Fighter. For me, these are some of the most beautiful renderings of Teela EVER produced. She was quite blonde in there. Do check it out if you have this book. As it appears the inside images are not on this site.
Hmmm, I'd think I'd just like teela with the snake headdress on her called "The Goddess" like in the old minicomics. Lets keep the Green Goddess to our fanselves
RobCaptain Picard:So...five card stud, nothing wild...and the sky's the limit.
Hmm, yeah, I understood that there were a few mini-comics made before DC started their main run of origins mini-comics. It seems that in those comics the names "Teela" and "The Goddess" were a tad confused. Certainly wouldn't go for a Green Goddess, 'cause then she'd look like Yoda's missus. I'd much prefer the caucasian Goddess with the auburn hair and blonde Teela as depicted in the DC mini-comics.
There was no "Goddess" in the real early ones. (The four)
Just that first one, He-Man and the Power Sword, where the green lady was actually the Sorceress.
There was no confusion between the two. Or their names.
In the Battle in the clouds we see Teela in the Snake Headress, but flesh colored, and it's definitely Teela that Skeletor had tied up, not the Goddess or the Sorceress.
Now why did she have the snake head dress? That might be confusing... Just a plot point I guess the editors or writers think too much about.
I noticed in that particular book, Alcala had depicted all the characters more closely to the toys than he did in the previous three books. Stratos especially.

I want 'em both. But having said that, I agree with what someone said before- about getting the Teela with blonde hair as seen in the old mini-comics... a much better-looking warrior goddess than anything that came afterwards, IMO!
Eh, I mean the first four mini-comics, not the DC ones that came a little later.

See? Much less confusing now isn't it?
Thing is, only in the Tale of Teela comic was the Goddess referred to as Teela.
(Haven't we all learned that the Wiki is about as reliable for information as water is a solid?)
Everywhere else the Goddess or the Sorceress' name is Teela-Na, or a form thereof. (Some minor different spellings here and there.)
Thank god they got rid of the blonde hair.
I just had a thought...
OH MY GODDESS....
Someone should make a wiki page for Nate's Green goddess. Why? Why the hell not???!!!!
Obey the whip!

Green Goddess man. She is a great character and I would love to own her.
The Teela isnt a bad idea either. But GG has a better and bigger impact to me. But if we got either one or both I would really be stoked!
Is is now up and live please check it out and spread the word please!!!

I'd be happy with Teela in any way shape or form as it was pretty much impossible to get a figure.
But if we could get a goddess as well, cool and the gang!
I've just changed my profile picture because we got Geldor in MOTUC!
I still think the cobra armor and goddess/Teela thing was all a ruse to make kids want two Teela figures to offset any fears in Mattel that boys wouldn't want the female action figure (to be fair, the worst sexist pigs are little boys).
I absolutely want a Green Goddess. I don't see a problem with calling her "Teela as the Goddess" though. I think the most likely release plan would be to put Teela without armor in a regular wave, Teela with armor as a convention exclusive, and Teela as the Goddess as an online exclusive. I think they'd have to get really inventive with the paint aps, and I'd recommend a variation in the Cobra Armor itself to give added value to the Goddess staction so it's not just a green Teela. Although, and I could be nuts here, I'd release Teela as the Goddess first because she'd probably have horrid sales as the third Teela. She'd depend totally on name recognition, and since some here are actually saying they'd pass, that doesn't bode well.
