Wow, I'm actually 3 for 3 today! Hit another store after getting a bunch of crap straightened out w/the bank, and scored Vader's Medical Droid (#37) & picked up another Mas Amedda (#40-the blue Senator guy w/the horns) if someone needs it. LMK!

I bought my first Episode III tie-in product yesterday when I picked up the new soundtrack. (Ok, I suppose I bought the bag of Dark Side M&Ms, but those don't really count.

) I can't imagine what I'd do with all the figures you guys are collecting.

The soundtrack is pretty cool, although it doesn't sound like there will be a new standout theme for this movie - a lot of the character themes are reprisals from the other Star Wars movies. (Including the original trilogy.) I'll need to wait to hear the soundtrack in context in the film to really judge it.

It does come with a bonus DVD though of a lot of classic Star Wars music played with images and scenes from the movies.

No probs Gabe, it's yours for the low price of $6. After hitting a few more stores, here's all what I have available, and what I can go back & get:

I have:
1 Mas Amedda (#40)-Gabe
1 General Grievous (#36-w/cloak)
2 Clone Troopers (#6)

I can go back & get PLENTY of:
Clone Commander (#33)
Clone Pilot (#34)
Palpatine (#35-only saw red sabers)
Vader's Medical Droid (#37)
Polis Massan (#39-Medic)
Mas Amedda (#40)

Let me know ASAP on any of the above. If the Grievous & Clone Troopers go unclaimed by Friday, they'll be returned.

Oh, and my ML Unmasked Wolverine showed up today!

Jimmy - Hope you're feeling better. The Clone Commander & Clone Pilot are $11. Did you ever get the 2 Sneak Preview figures you needed? The KB I hit today had tons of them, except for Grievous. LMK!

Hello All,

Well, the life of a breadman is an exhausting one. I've been putting in 10 to 12 hour days. I basicly come home, play with the dog, cook dinner, eat, say "Hello" to the wife, and then it's time for bed.

I did pick up ROTS #33 to 39 someplace the other day. I think a Wal-Mart. I've been traveling so much, I can't remember where I've been these days.

The Mysterio wave is out?

I tought that wasn't hitting until June/July. I just got Hyrdo Blast Spidey from the last wave last week! I must be thinking of ML 10 in that timeframe.

The nice thing about the new job is that I'm in the $$$ again. So I can go back at pick up some stuff I've had to pass on over the last 18+ months when I was at Targhetto. (Like Absorbing Man)

Speaking of Target, two weeks after I walked out, the Team Lead in Toys and Seasonal walked out.

And the Team Lead for Eletronics is next, along with the Music/Movie Spealists, the Eletronics Specialists, and a GSTL. I'm sure the store manager is going to get canned very soon.

Guys:

The trade I had fell through -- looks like the UK guy stiffed me on the overseas MOTU figs. I even offered up a lava vader for trade, but when I found out he had sold them all (and still wanted lava vader), I just ended relations right there. I'll keep searching for a way to hook up the Horde with the overseas MOTU.

On the Unleashed front, I managed to snag (oddly enough) Hoth Luke at TRU tonight. Someone had hidden it up on a riser and I managed to see it. I remember when I was in Chicago I saw an Unleashed Yoda and picked it up just because I wanted to buy *something* at the time -- it's going for $80 on eBay nowadays! :O You Star Wars peeps are craaaaaaaaaazy

On a side note, nobody needs to call Darrell -- I decided to play it safe and bought it for him just in case.

It's probably a good thing.. outside of that auction on eBay, that piece is running between $125-$299. Horde power!

air7walk- sorry our phone conversation the other day was cut short i was @ my aunt's house and the damn dog keeps barking till i pet him. he used to bark regardless b/c he hated me for shooting him in the dingleberries w/ a rubberband!!!

I heard the target clone troopers were recalled because the plastic case was too small for the card and was bending it (similar to the target vader). I still need one if anyone can hook me up that'd be awesome.

I saw vader's medical droid, pollis massan, and some others but passed as they suck. I don't think Unleashed Hoth Luke is too hard to find? I keep running past chewies and all sorts of unleashed figures. How much do you guys wanna bet after the movie hype dies down those figures plummet in price. The only one I ever got was Solo and he's sitting comfortably on my desk next to my computer (loose).

To clarify on the Target recall:

The Exclusive Clone Troopers have NOT been recalled. The recall was for the 5-pack of Star cases. They are designed about 1/2 to 1" too short for the cards. Direction was given to destroy them, which was done today at my store.

I've got 4 extra Exclusive Clone Troopers. They are going to Jimmy, Gabe, Compuman & leoPaul. $13 each. If anyone doesn't want theirs, I'll trade them off.

Gabe - nice score on the SW figs. Any extra AT-TE Gunners? That one is proving to be quite the beeyotch to find.....

EDIT: OK, since everybody else seems to be out hunting today, I guess I'll fill you all in on my AWESOME score at work this morning!

We got several cases of Collection 1 & 2 today, along with a case of new Deluxes. Here's what I was able to grab for myself:

#38 - AT-TE Tank Gunner (finally!)
#41 - Super Articulated Clone Trooper
#42 - Neimoidian Warrior
#43 - Wookie Warrior
#44 - Destroyer Droid

Plus, all 4 of the new Deluxe figures: Vader w/operating table, Yoda on Can-Cell, Clone Trooper w/Jetpack, & Vulture Droid Starfighter

The only extras I was able to grab due to $$$ availability were 2 AT-TE Gunners, so Jimmy & leo, I got ya covered. After I pick up Kim's Mother's Day gifts tonight, I'll see how much $$$ I have left to pick up any other new ones that are still in the stockroom. I'll be there at 5am tomorrow morning, so hopefully there will still be some of the 41-44s left.

Still have yet to find the Mace/Kit Fisto GH 2-pack. Maybe I'll see it tonight.....

Oh and BTW - does anybody happen to have an extra Sneak Preview Grievous? He's the only 1 of the 4 I don't have. LMK!!!!!

Crap, I'll keep an eye out tonight for a sneak peek grievous, I'm thinking maybe my TRU might have one left... Those were EVERYWHERE at my Wal-Mart not even a week ago and now they're pretty much gone (same with that one preview droid that I shouldn't have passed on).

Thanks for scoring me some stuff Brad, I'll have the money next Saturday as I didn't have anyone to leave it with today since Jimmy wasn't there.

There isn't a Horde meeting tomorrow is there? I can't make it due to mother's day + church.

Still looking for Super Articulated Clone (regular not Target, thanks again Brad!) and a deluxe clone pack tho the later I might just hold off on since I don't think it will be to hard to find in a few weeks.

dan- those figs are hard to come by, we usually see tham @ toyshow or wwc but they each carry a $20+ price tag. the leia isn't too pricey maybe $10-15 for her.

nice score brad! if you can grab another vader coffee table i'll take it!

I had a little bit of luck today. I picked up a few OTC '05 figures that I was surprised to see at a K-Mart.

I also saw the Mysterio Spidey wave at Wal-Mart. I was able to pick up 2 of the Spideys, but they didn't have Mysterio or "Flip & Stick" or whatever it's called Spider-Man.
