The Avengers (Blu-ray). Watching the film with commentary from Joss Whedon is tedious: he is relentless, speaking over nearly the entire film, and rarely pausing between subjects; and he is not as clever, humorous, or insightful as he tries to be. The featurettes and deleted and extended scenes are not really new material, and the gag reel, while entertaining, is short. If you are interested in buying a more expensive set for the bonus features, I would recommend saving your money and buying a basic set.

Creature from the Black Lagoon on dvd (I wanted this movie for a while and $7.50 is not bad, plus it was the last copy in stock)
