I really have zero interest in Phantom of the Opera, but Serenity is still in the mail, and I wanted something to watch on this monster:

(Grabbed a random DVD off the shelf to show how different the HD-DVD cases are compared to regular DVD. Yes, I own Disorderlies. )

    Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself

I saw him on Comedy Central and ordered his DVD off Amazon right away. I can't remember the last time I've laughed so hard I've gone hoarse.

The MSRP for the player I have is $499, although I ordered it from Crutchfield for $450 with free shipping. Prices vary depending on where you go, but Warner's first three titles (Phantom of the Opera, The Last Samurai, and Million Dollar Baby) are $20 at several retailers and down the road at Wal-Mart, and Universal's Serenity was $25. Best Buy was charging $5 more for each disc.

I picked up Star Trek: The Next Generation Complete First Season on Friday. It's an early graduation gift for myself.

Early TNG is weird, but it's fun watching thus far.
