I'd agree with that. They are the worst - well, with the obvious exception of Gwildor - and I don't think they're all that popular. The way to make them more appealing is to add removeable legs - a...

I agree. This might be the only way we get to see more vehicles. The accessory type models should only be considered in terms of weapon packs and situated outside the main subs.
I would definitely go for a minicomic sub. And for a bit more money I'd welcome an over-sized glorm figure as part of it.
I need the glorm in my collection!
Why does there have to be balance?
It's probably not the right attitude, but as an international customer, small defects are simply too much aggravation to even consider shipping back for replacements. By the time packages arrive in...
No - I don't collect them - but I have a few Undertaker figures for army building which works quite well.
It's a good idea for a sub. But everyone who's said the principle existing characters need to come first are right.
I bought some extras today because I thought he'd be good as an army builder. A good match for Snake Man-At-Arms.

Most on your list have been available more than once on Matty Collector. Sometimes that has been for the briefest of moments during sales. Teela and Fisto are the ones most people are upset about...
If Spector had been designed by someone other than Scott, I reckon he would have been far less controversial. He's a much better figure than Laser Lot, the Star Sisters, Mo-Larr, Cy-Chop and the...
Well it's no secret I'm not an NA fan, but I wouldn't want to see a principle character not made for the NA fans. In fact this is the only NA character I knew of until recently because of his...
Good interview; thanks Poe. Let's hope Rudy gets his wish about Attak Trak!
Well as the question was about reusing bucks, Charger would be a logical choice. Furthermore it might change Mattel's mind about reissuing Teela, or at least doing a second version. But we do need...
I don't think the Classics back-story is dark at all. So what if a few people die? That doesn't make a story dark. Throw in a bit of torture and moral ambiguity and you might get something worthy of...
I would expect them to have a team of people who have worked in the toy industry and experience conducting valuations in auction houses. If you were getting an antique Steiff bear valued, you'd get...
Sorry, I have to respectfully disagree. If the grading were by a recognised body with expertise then maybe, but not when it's by a private company with no credentials just using their own method.
An AFA rating only means something to the people who think it means something. This discussion has taken place here before.
There is nothing official or remotely professional about the AFA...
Well the obvious question is "where have you been all these years?", but considering Mattel didn't even tell MOTU webmasters about the Classics, maybe we shouldn't be surprised.
But your post...
We have to look at both the 2002 attempt and the DCC v MOTUC efforts to try to work out whether a retail line could work.
I believe the former wasn't successful for a handful of reasons: endless...
To be fair, Ebay prices are always higher than they ought to be. I remember paying around $70 each for a couple of SDCC Keldors nine years ago. It'll be interesting to see how Classics prices are in...
Hi everyone,
I'm after an English language copy in very good condition of the Series One minicomic He-Man and the Powersword.
If you have one you would be willing to sell, please e-mail me at...
No it's not the best. It's great, but...
Lego is the best toy ever. Then there are iconic products for children, such as Airfix models, Steiff bears and Hornby railways.
As has been mentioned,...
I would still want a few minicomic characters and minicomic variants of the main characters. But I doubt I would sub again. In fact I'm still undecided about this year's Filmation sub and next year's...
Can we do without the Wind Raider attachment?
Can we have a jawbridge that both opens flat on the floor and allows figure clearance?
Is the tower designed for a future Point Dread?
Likewise for the UK. Almost all packages end up with charges. My minimum order is two figures, and even those packages attract a fee most times.
But curiously, some of the rubbish ones like...
Lovely artwork and equally as good as Baena's Gothitropolis pictures.
The $38 charge is news to me too. Seems more like a domestic shipping charge for US customers. It was indeed $200 initially then dropped to $100 after the near-criminality of the original charge was...
The business sense of a sub only model is obvious, but then so too is the sense in making figures permanently available on the website. If Mattel actually left their excess stock up for sale it might...
I think they'll resurface on Matty at some point. We don't know for sure, but we can probably conclude there are still a lot of these in the warehouse. Remember Mattel has been trying to shift Gygor...
A fair and reasonable point from the OP. I'm uncertain about the six month one, let alone a twelve month one as I'm not really a Filmation fan.
However, interesting that this is now even an...
