There are lots of people on this board who could have done better than this. It's amazingly insipid as a design.
One of the key differences for me between the WR and Granamyr is that the WR was originally scheduled for an earlier release and then only came out in December, which is not a great month to release...
Hi Benzie
Fellow Saffer here, welcome to the forums!
That's exactly why I didn't get one. I was all up for a WR in October when it was supposed to come out, but they pushed it back to December, when I could least afford it.
Too bad...
Interesting thread...my interest has come and gone for a few months now, but for me that's normal. I can't be passionate about something every waking day.
Having said that, my interest in the...
No way...:hmeek:
I was beginning to think Gooble was all over. Whew.
Thanks a ton, guys.
I've thought long and hard about a Motu video game, and despite the enormous potential to actually make a great game, the conclusion for me is that if we see one, it'll be tied in with a movie, or in...
Well, I first read the crossover DC comic (the one where Superman and He-Man tangle) and was hooked on the story and characters.
That was my first introduction to Motu.
Then in about '82 or so...
I'm totally satisfied with Horde Prime; to me he is dark, sinister and powerful looking - just as Hordak's boss should be. I'm really very impressed with this guy. Great colour combination.
This is...
Well, if it comes down to getting an unedited version and waiting several weeks or more for an edited version, then I'd rather have Gooble in it's unedited state rather than not at all, or very, very...
That's my way of thinking as well. I was impressed with the Shokoti character in the Filmation cartoon. She was badass. Illumina? I know next to nothing about her.
Totally agree. I like Queen Marlena, but Grizzlor is just a much better figure.
I can do without Wun-Dar is my collection. I'm really not very impressed with him as a figure.
Gygor is something fresh and exciting. I hope the giant gorilla goes far in this tourney.
Very tough choice.
I went for Bow simply because he is a novelty to me. Webs is a terrific figure, but I had him as a vintage toy and wasn't something totally new.
Oh jeez...:hmeek:
I went with He-Man. BC is absolutely great, but He-Man is no lightweight either. He personifies what Motu is all about, imo.
Wow, 10-10 so far.
I love this look for Count Marzo; there is nothing about him that I don't like.
Stratos to me has always been one of the less interesting vintage designs. I don't know...
I actually prefer this look for Zodac. To me it makes sense to have actual boots if he is a neutral character and I always wished he had painted gloves, which this version does.
So for me, TRU...
I wasn't sure about Megator until I got the figure in hand, but he exceeded my expectations. (And then some)
It's the zombie head that does it for me...I just love it. Megs in my opinion is to...
Of all the ladies so far, I find that Adora is the prettiest of them all. She truly has a beautiful face sculpt, but at the end of the day, Teela just has so many more options.
I could take or...
To be honest, I'm surprised that The Goddess has come this far. It's not the figure per se, but rather the brittleness that has caused me to vote against her in every round so far.
Clawful is by...
Surprisingly close call...I still ultimately went for Hordak. While I agree that he is not quite an absolute top-shelf figure, he came out looking pretty good regardless.
TRU Skelly is very nice,...
If there was a 'draw' option, I'd probably have gone for that. :hmlol: This is incredibly difficult for me...both are without doubt amazing figures.
Sigh...
I went with Skeletor in the end....
This pretty much sums up how I feel too.
TJ is a really amazing figure, but I simply adore Beast Man in Motuc. The colour for me is perfect, and that face sculpt is also spot-on. He's also...
I'm still waiting for my HH so it's hard to vote, but Zodak is a pretty good figure. I'm sticking my neck out and giving him my vote.
Zodac just doesn't have enough going for him to compete with Faceless One, which is a really excellent figure.
Tough draw for Leech, going up against the figure that may win the whole thing.
I'm still waiting for my Leech figure, which makes it easier to vote for Mer-Man.
Yeah, for the first time I'm voting against Optikk too. Whiplash for me ticks pretty much all the boxes.
Both look great in blue, but it is Keldor that is more interesting to me. Had he had his proper swords, this would not be close, imo.
I love the palace guards, but this version of Moss Man is amazing.
