MOTUC sized Fright Zone, Filmation Style

Hi everyone!
Here's our latest project: The Horde Fright Zone!
We made it MOTUC sized, based on the Filmation design (modified in order to be able to display a few figures)

This what I want when they make the fright zone, I want this.. but use the vintage fright zone as the back side of the playset; like the back side of the Castle Grayskull Playset; I think that would make everyone happy.

That way if ppl wanted to display it as filmation, detach the front.
If ppl wanted to display the vintage, they can detach the back.

...both ppl happy.

Basically, we used garbage, haha! Parts of some speakers, 2 plants pots, some tubes, cd displays cases, and some other stuff we had lying around :)

Too cool for words. Can you show us more pictures of it? Inside, the back, everything? This is so awesome..and to know you made it out of junk, makes it even more cool!!!!

Amazing work! Is that stained glass with leading for the balcony? And I like your idea of Mo-Larr as one of Hordak's minions.

STUNNING. I have never seen a playset like this....it's perfect. Can you post a pic with some vintage customs in there (your Filmation ones!!!)

amazing, but I want to see the vintage goodness: scale or no scale.

It´s such a great but simply approach. Using what ever you got at home and transform that "garbage" into the FRIGHT ZONE, that´s amazing :hoeek:

It feels like Hordak did that to create his Fright Zone, the Vintage playset is nothing more than a rock with two caves and a tree again, he used what was there and turnt a cave into a prison and the other became the home of a monster.
The FILMATION fright zone looks as if it wasn´t planned and put together just like yours and that what makes it so special and great.

VERY COOL :hogrin:

And my favorite character on your pictures is Shadow Weaver, it looks as if she would try to hit She-Ra on the head with her spell book!!!!

Thanks! :) I agree that it is made with junk makes it cooler. We didn't just made a playset, we made the planet a little bit cleaner, haha!
I'll take more pics as soon as possible, from more angles, and post them here :)

No, it's acrylic we cut heating up an utility knife and gluing together.
Putting Mo-Larr there was just a way of hiding him a little, haha ;)

I agree about the vintage Fright Zone. It doesn't look too "Horde", as they are technological. Glad you liked our approach :)
