You know, I do check out the chat room, but there's rarely anyone there. I enjoy chatting with others and I was wondering if anyone might have a way to increase participation. It seems to me it might be a good idea to set up a definite time each week (one evening per week?) when we can have a regular chat. Everyone has a busy life, but at least this way orgers would know this is the most likely time to run into each other.
Any thoughts?
There always used to be a scheduled group chat on Wednesday evenings. I don't know if that helps.

Well, when I first tried the chatroom it was ok. The intro freaked me out but other than that it was okay.

You know, I'd suggest that the best way to do that is schedule regular sessions so everyone who want to chat can find some company -- maybe MWF at 8 p.m. EST or something. Problem with doing it scattergun is that no one knows when anyone will be there.
I've met a couple of fans there and I've really enjoyed it, so how about we give it a shot?
How come none of you guys (or gals :) ) seems to want to jump onto the chat room? I think it's a great place for everyone to convene and, of course, take pot shots at me for creating N/A and, for those who don't know, my recent debacle on rangerboard.com. (Oh, heavens, will my career survive?! :) )
Anyway, how 'bout we set a time and date for us all to come together -- alway a good thing :) -- and chat a bit? After all, the chat room's not there for nuthin. ya know!

Yep. I agree. Just went there myself and it was dead. Perhaps we can prevail upon our kind mods and administrators to try to set up a date and time where we can all focus and convene? I really like the idea of instant feedback. :)Quote:

that is the main problem with chat, the time differences we all have. I for one am constantly chatting with Darth Latveria and Patreek on aim but due to time zones this is usually between 1 and 5 AM for me...just lucky I am a night person then
