Bowena is a member of the Tree People of the Crystal Forest. She is the primary bodyguard of the Star Child (#2), and protects the young girl from those wishing to capitalize on her potential power. Bowena is a very capable and brave warrior, who speaks in a mature, somewhat impatient manner. She is often harsh, abrasive and hot-headed. At all times she carries with her an exquisite Longbow and Quiver of trick arrows, and her accuracy with these is without equal. Bowena takes a liking to He-Man, but being a warrior first, she will never let her emotions compromise her actions.
