Synopsis:

At Snake Mountain Skeletor's old friend Monteeg arrives and convinces Skeletor that he will take He-Man away as one of his warriors. Monteeg has no trouble convincing He-Man, and Orko that there is a giant nearby, thus the two accompany Monteeg to his castle. On the way Monteeg tests He-Man's powers by placing a series of dangerous situations before him.

From Snake Mountain Skeletor and Clawful watch and pray that He-Man passes all of Monteeg's tests, because they will be rid of the hero forever. Arriving at the castle Monteeg disappears, and He-Man and Orko suspect that they have walked directly into a trap. Blackbeard, Hannibal, Herc and Monteeg test He-Man's skill inside the castle.

He-Man realizes that the spirits of all of Monteeg's captured victims lie atop the castle within a dome. He-Man manages to reach the top, just as Skeletor joins in the attack on the hero. He-Man frees the spirits of the warriors and an angry Monteeg vanishes with Skeletor.
